SMART CITY INITIATIVES
To be a leading city of the future, we need to increase our digital connectivity citywide - especially with seniors and lower income families. It's hard to take advantage of telemedicine opportunities, when you can't connect to high speed internet.
And at the same time, we need to make interacting with the city online safer by improving our city's cybersecurity measures. With local governments under constant pressure of cyberattacks, we need to make sure we're protecting our resident's sensitive data. And with these interface upgrades, we can make it easier for business owners and families to safely and securely interact with our government when applying for permits, licenses, etc.
